Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

This policy explains how DevKit handles information when you use the website and its tools. DevKit is designed to keep routine work in your browser where possible, and to be clear whenever a feature or a third party processes information.

Local processing and server-assisted tools

Most DevKit tools process the text, code, or files you provide locally in your browser. We do not create user accounts or maintain a database of tool inputs or generated results.

A small number of features need server assistance: the Image Extractor sends the public page URL you enter to our server so it can retrieve that page's HTML, and the HEIC fallback temporarily sends the image you upload for conversion. These requests are processed only to provide the requested result; the application does not persist the page content, file, or converted image after the request ends.

Website operation and analytics

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel may process technical request data such as IP address, browser and device information, request time, and referring page to deliver, secure, and diagnose the service.

DevKit uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as pages viewed, referral source, browser or device category, and interactions. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for this purpose. You can learn how Google handles data in its Privacy Policy.

Advertising, cookies, and consent

When advertising is enabled, DevKit uses Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to measure advertising and, where permitted, personalize ads. AdSense also receives information needed to serve and protect ads, such as IP address, browser, page URL, and interaction data.

Google requires a consent choice from visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland before personalized advertising is used. DevKit uses the Google-certified consent-management platform configured in AdSense for that choice. You can manage advertising preferences through Google's My Ad Center and can control or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, as well as the right to withdraw consent. Requests related to Google Analytics or AdSense may also be managed through the Google controls linked above. To ask a question about DevKit's own processing, use the contact link below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or its providers change. The revision date at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated.
